Travel to K'gari & Illumina Light Show Experience

Begin your adventure with a scenic journey to World Heritage-listed K’gari (Fraser Island). After arriving via ferry from Hervey Bay, we settle into our resort and enjoy a light lunch. In the evening, we’re treated to an Asian-inspired buffet followed by the mesmerising Illumina ‘Return to Sky’ light show—a stunning celebration of K’gari’s natural regeneration and cultural spirit.

K'gari Island Exploration
Tue 28 Jul 26
Explore K’gari’s pristine landscapes on a guided 4WD tour. Highlights include Lake McKenzie’s crystal-clear waters, the historic Maheno Shipwreck, long stretches of white sandy beaches and lush rainforests. On our travels, look out for sightings of Australia’s purest breed of dingos. After a day of discovery, we return for our festive Christmas themed dinner in the ballroom with a gift to take home.

Whale Watching Cruise & Bush Tucker Experience
Wed 29 Jul 26
Today we set sail into Hervey Bay Marine Park for an unforgettable whale watching cruise. Witness humpback whales breaching and playing in one of the world’s safest viewing spots. After lunch, enjoy a relaxed afternoon with optional resort activities. Later, we gather for a bush tucker tasting led by a local ranger, followed by a classic Aussie BBQ and lively bingo night.

Farewell K'gari & Return to Brisbane

After breakfast, we board the ferry back to the mainland and begin our journey home. With comfort stops and time to purchase lunch, we reflect on the beauty and serenity of K’gari—a truly memorable coastal retreat.
