Tour Itinerary
Day 1: (LD)
Brisbane to Wangaratta
Fri 1 May 26
We begin our adventure with a flight to Melbourne, where we visit Woodlands Historic Park and meet the Living Legends—Australia’s champion retired racehorses. After exploring the homestead’s art and racing memorabilia, we travel to Wangaratta for a warm welcome dinner and settle in for three nights.

Bright Autumn Festival
Sat 2 May 26
Today we explore Eurobin’s Red Stag Deer Farm, feeding and learning about these majestic animals. Then it’s off to Bright for Gala Day at the Autumn Festival, filled with vibrant colours, local produce, markets, and the Grand Parade.

Beechworth History
Sun 3 May 26
We journey to Beechworth for a guided town tour and immersive visit to the Historic Court House and Kelly Trials Exhibition. At Last Street Brewery, we sample gourmet cordials made with pure spring water before enjoying free time to browse the town or visit the famous Beechworth Bakery.

Wangaratta to Jindabyne
Mon 4 May 26
We travel through the High Country to Corryong, visiting the Man from Snowy River Museum to uncover the legend of Jack Riley and Banjo Paterson’s iconic ballad. After lunch, we continue into the Snowy Mountains and settle into Jindabyne.

Snowy Mountains
Tue 5 May 26
A spectacular day unfolds with views from Charlotte Pass, lunch at Sponars Chalet, and scenic stops in Kosciuszko National Park. We ride the Mt Kosciuszko Chairlift in Thredbo and finish with a tasting at Wildbrumby Schnapps, where native botanicals inspire award-winning spirits.

Cooma & Canberra
Wed 6 May 26
We explore Cooma’s rich history and the Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre before heading to Lanyon Homestead for lunch and a guided tour of its convict-era buildings and gardens. We arrive in Canberra for the final leg of our journey.
Day 7: (BLD)
Canberra
Thu 7 May 26
Our final full day of touring includes Cockington Green’s miniature world, a working sheep farm experience at Gold Creek Station, and a visit to the Canberra Glass Works to witness the artistry of contemporary glassmaking. We end with a farewell dinner at our hotel.

Fri 8 May 26
After breakfast, we transfer to Canberra Airport for our flight home to Brisbane, bringing with us wonderful memories of the High Country and Snowy Mountains.
